I spend majority of my day sitting at a desk. And even thought I spent a fair amount of money on my desk chair I still get lower back pain right near my tail bone. I try to sit up straight with both my feet flat on the floor. But when I am working those really long days the pain comes back. So when I was asked if I would like to try out a seat cushion from Softnia at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review I was eager to say yes. I had actually been looking them over and thinking about investing in one so the timing was perfect!
When the Softnia seat cushion arrived I was eager to unwrap it and put it to use. The first thing I noticed was how soft it was. It was still firm but with pressure it conformed to the object applying pressure. So I placed it on my chair and went to work. Placing the Softnia on the chair was weird at first. I was not sure exactly how it was to go. Because it is U shaped I had a little confusion. So I thought about it for a moment. There is a rise in the center – that is so your legs stay at an nice separation. And then the back is open – so you tailbone does not have pressure from sitting all day. So now I have it placed on the chair correctly and I’m ready to try it out. The first thing I noticed was how much better my posture was. Without even thinking I kept my feet flat on the floor, not crossed at the ankle. And I instantly noticed a difference for my tailbone. There was no pressure. The seat cushion actually felt really good.
I have been using the seat cushion for a few days now and I have zero low back pain. No longer is my low back and hips popping and cracking when I stand up after sitting for prolonged amounts of time. I don’t feel the constant need to stretch. And my posture is improving because I have support for my hips and low back.
