To be completely honest I was not sure what to expect. I knew it would be a journal and I knew that would be a hit with my daughter however I was not prepared for the fun that would be had with this journal. When it arrived I took it out to look it over and was surprised at how cool it was. The cover of the journal reminds of a huge a building block base. Then the little tiles can be stuck on to spell words or make patterns and to help keep the journal closed. I loved the creativity this journal would inspire.
I was pretty excited and eager to let my daughter see the journal. I was trying to save it for her birthday which was only a few weeks a way but couldn’t hold out. When Peyton saw the journal her eyes lit up. She was so excited to have a book all her own that “locked”. And then she noticed the tiles and what she could do. Wells he scooped it all off and ran to her room. She didn’t come out for a few hours. She was having a blast redesigning her cover and writing in her new journal.
If you have a young child that loves to play with building blocks and also loves to write this is the perfect gift for them.
