First, you are going to preheat the oven to 425F.Then, in a large mixing bowl you are going to combine theflour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Give it a quick stir tocombine. Then set aside.In another large bowl, beat the butter and sugar togetheruntil well combined.Add in the eggs and beat until combined.Next, mix in the milk and vanilla extract.Add about a third of your dry mixture and mix until wellcombined. Repeat this step until all your dry mixture has been added.Fold in your chocolate chips.Scoop into muffin liners until they are 3/4 full. These muffins will rise a little but not much so they do not need a lot of room.Sprinkle a few chocolate chips on the top of the muffins.Reduce the oven temp to 375F and place the muffins into the oven.Bake for 15-20 minutes. You will know the muffins are donewhen you can insert a toothpick into the center of the muffin and it comes out clean.Remove from the oven and let set for about 5 minutes in themuffin pan before transferring them to a cooling rack.Enjoy!These will keep for about a week in an air-tight containerin the refrigerator or 3-5 days in an air-tight container on the counter.
