Ingredients
2shots espresso
1tablespoonvanilla syrup
1tablespooncaramel sauce
1cuphalf-and-half
Icefor iced version
Whipped creamoptional
Additional caramel sauce for topping
Instructions
For an Iced Golden Eagle:
Brew two shots of espresso.
Stir vanilla syrup and caramel sauce into the hot espresso.
Fill a tall glass approximately three-quarters full with ice.
Pour cold half-and-half over the ice.
Slowly pour the caramel-vanilla espresso over the half-and-half.
Top with whipped cream if desired.
Drizzle generously with caramel sauce.
Stir and serve immediately.
For a Hot Golden Eagle:
Brew two shots of espresso.
Stir in vanilla syrup and caramel sauce.
Heat half-and-half over medium-low heat until steaming. Do not boil.
Froth the warm half-and-half.
Pour over the espresso.
Top with whipped cream and caramel sauce if desired.
Serve immediately.
Regular milk or plant-based milk can be substituted for half-and-half.Use decaf espresso for a decaffeinated version.Adjust the vanilla and caramel to control the sweetness.For an extra caramel-heavy version, drizzle caramel around the inside of the glass before adding the drink.
