First, slice the bananas in two. Peel them and place a popsicle stick in them. Lay them flat on wax paper on a tray and place them in the freezer for about a half-hour. Once the bananas are frozen it's time to melt the chocolate. Take a liquid measuring cup or large mug and pour the chocolate chips into them. Melt in 30-second intervals in the microwave, be sure to stir them in between. It took me about 1 minute 20 seconds to melt the chocolate. Take a small plate and pout the toffee bits out in an even layer. Dip a frozen banana in the melted chocolate. Be sure to shake off the excess. Roll the banana in the toffee bits. Place back on the wax paper and place in the freezer for about a half-hour. Once the chocolate has hardened you are ready to enjoy!Store the chocolate-covered bananas in a baggie or airtight container in the freezer until you are ready to enjoy.
