Oreo Cookies, double or mega stuffed
Oil for deep frying
1CBiscuit Mix

1/2C Milk

This recipe moves fairly quickly so on the front end you'll want to do a little prep work. Take a large plate and place some paper towels down. This is where you are going to place your freshly fried Oreo cookies so the excess oil can be absorbed into the paper towels.In a shallow bowl place the biscuit mix.In another bowl beat together the egg and milk.Then, whisk the liquid mixture into the biscuit mix until you have a smooth batter.Pour the oil into your deep fryer or large pot and heat the oil until it is 375 degrees.Dip your Oreo cookie into the batter, be sure to shake off the excess.Gently drop or place the battered Oreo into the hot oil and cook for 1-2 minutes for each side. When the batter is a nice golden brown they are done.You want to be sure to shake off excess batter. If there is a lot of excess batter it may not cook all the way by the time the outside is golden brown.Place the finished Oreo cookies on the paper towels to absorb any excess oil.Dust with a thin layer of powdered sugar before serving.These are best served warm. And a nice cold glass of milk goes perfectly with them too.
