1/4tspPepper
1/4CItallian Bread Crumbs
1/4CRomano Cheese, grated
25ounceSpaghetti Sauce
6Buns
1/2CMozzarella Cheese, shredded
Instructions
Remove the crust from the bread and place in a large bowl. Add the milk and mash it with the bread until it becomes a paste. Next, add the egg, Worchestire sauce, basil, oregano, garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Romano cheese to the paste. Mix until it's well combined. Add in the ground beef and mix until well combined. Take a small cookie scoop and roll out the meatballs. Using a cookie scoop helps keep them uniform so they cook the same. Place the meatballs on the bottom of the slow cooker in a single layer. Pour the spaghetti sauce on top of the meatballs. Place the cover on and cook on low for 7 hours. If you made bigger meatballs you will need to increase the cook time. Once the meatballs are cooked, place 3-5 meatballs on a bun. Be sure to get some of the sauce too. You can top it with some more grated cheese.Top with the mozzarella. You can also brown this for a few minutes in the oven if you desire. Add additional toppings if you like. Banana Peppers go well with this too. Enjoy!Leftovers can be stored in the fridge. You can eat the meatballs by themselves, over noodles or make more sandwiches. It's up to you!
