5 Noteworthy Features of the 2020 Nissan Rogue

Off all the vehicles in the Nissan lineup, the Rogue is definitely my favorite.  You all know I love SUVs, they just make my life so much easier that I cannot imagine going back to a sedan.  Besides having sleek lines and a visually pleasing appearance there features that enhance the beauty of the Nissan Rogue too.

2020 Nissan RogueNissan Intelligent Mobility

There is nothing like being able to connect your smartphone to your vehicle. With the Nissan Intelligent Mobility, you can connect your smartphone to the Rogue and stay in touch via the phone, email, and text all on a 7-inch touchscreen! Plus there are controls on the steering wheel to help navigate while you are driving.  You can stay hands-free compliant while still being connected.

Motion Activated Liftgate

Oh, how I wish my current SUV has motion-activated liftgate technology. Imagine walking up to the trunk of your car with your hands full, you can wave your foot under the tailgate area and the trunk will open! I frequently have our two dogs with us and it’s hard to open the trunk and hold on to their leashes at the same time. Having a motion-activated liftgate would be much more convenient.

Divide-N-Hide Cargo System

Peyton and I travel a lot and having a place to store valuables that are out of sight would be a huge benefit. The Nissan Rogue has a compartment that can be rearranged with dividers to keep valuables out of sight. So not only are you keeping your SUV organized you are also able to hide valuables at the same time. It’s a win-win!

Rear Door Alert

The rear door alert is huge. I wish they would have had this when Peyton was a baby. It alerts you to check the backseat which can be a lifesaver.  When Peyton was a baby I would put my purse in the backseat with her so I would have to reach in and get it. Being a single parent I was the only one taking her to daycare but there were days our routine would change and I was always scared I would screw up and accidentally leave her in the car. So having an alert reminds me to check the backseat would have helped put my mind at ease.

Remote System Start with Intelligent Climate Control

This sounds exactly like what is says – remote system start with intelligent climate control. This is perfect for those of us that live in a place that has 4 seasons. The remote start can either warm up your SUV or cool it down! The windows can start to defrost and the seats can warm up! This would be such a welcomed feature for us.

These are just a few of the noteworthy features of the 2020 Nissan Rogue. Be sure to keep an eye on our Instagram the first week of February as we head to the Chicago Auto Show and get an up-close look at what’s new for Nissan.
