Shanna is a single mom living in the suburbs of the Twin Cities raising a middle-school-age daughter. Shanna creates content focused on travel, entertainment, food, and more.
Being a single parent with a special needs child she shares her tips and knowledge that she has amassed through personal experiences. She shares tips for traveling with her child, visiting new places, and learning through travel. She also shares her opinions on various movies and shows, letting you know if it’s kid-appropriate or something you should see without the kids. She is an avid cook and enjoys sharing recipes and entertaining. Shanna plans educational events and field trips for her daughter and shares her experiences so other families can plan their own adventures.
Shanna has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Legal Studies but her true passion is writing. She started her site in October 2010 when Peyton was just a few months old. From there, she has grown Peyton’s Momma into a known brand that parents use as a resource.
When Shanna is not creating content for Peyton’s Momma she is spending time with Peyton and their pets relaxing by the pool.
Without Peyton, there would be no Peyton’s Momma. Peyton is the inspiration for the site. Over the years, Peyton has appeared on the site helping test products or sharing her opinions on new shows. Now that she is a tween, Peyton is producing videos, writing her own content, and finding her space in this crazy world.
Peyton is an artistic tween that enjoys sharing her love for beauty, music, fashion, and travel with the world. When she is not working on pieces for Peyton’s Momma she spends her time competing in synchronized swimming, advancing her horseback riding skills for future competitions, or snuggling with her pets, Jinx, Ellie, and Balto.
