“This is a sponsored blog; while the views expressed here were genuinely mine, consideration was paid to me by Noah’s Ark Waterpark.”
Summer is nearly here. The kids are almost out of school. Now is the time to start planning those family vacations. Start making those bucket lists. One place that is on our summer bucket list is Noah’s Ark in Wisconsin Dells. Did you know Noah’s Ark is America’s largest waterpark? It is! Spanning over 85 acres, Noah’s Ark is full of something for everyone in the family.
Noah’s Ark has been around for over 40 years, and over those 40 years, they have created over 50 of the best water slides, 2 lazy rivers, 2 massive wave pools and so much family fun that your kids are going to never want to leave. Peyton’s favorite place to hang in the summer is the wave pool. That kid cannot get enough. She would literally spend from sun up to sun down in the wave pool if I let her.
When you’re not hanging out in the water there are plenty of dry land activities for the family to partake in too. This year, Noah’s Ark is opening an 18-hole Safari miniature golf course. Peyton cannot wait to try it out. In fact, it’s one of the first things she wants to do when we arrive there. There is also a 4D theater with an action-packed show “Journey 2: Mysterious Island”. We are going to try to work this into our vacation as well.
Noah’s Ark is definitely a place where families can be chill and hang in one of the 33 cabanas throughout the park or they can go wild and try to ride as many water slides as possible in a day. I’m going to try and see how many water slides Peyton and I can take in before she notices the wave pool. I’m not sure how many I’ll be able to get her on before she goes to her oasis in the wave pool but I’ll let you know. Now I have heard Noah’s Ark has 2 of the most spine-tingling attractions around – RajaTM – The World’s Largest King Cobra, and Scorpion’s Tail, America’s first near-vertical looping waterslide! I’m not sure if I can convince Peyton to try them out but I am sure going to try!
What’s great about Noah’s Ark is they have a fun-filled calendar throughout the summer filled with special events, making each visit unique and one of a kind. Here’s just a little snippet of a few of the special events taking place this summer –
The Father’s Day Flop belly flop contest on Sunday, June 16
The most daring of Dads will put their paternal prowess on the line for a chance to win great prizes and be crowned the Big Kahuna! Plus, take advantage of $24.99 general admission Father’s Day weekend and $2 from each ticket sold will benefit the Jimmy V Foundation.
Noah’s Art Chalk Art Festival on July 6 & 7
Noah’s Ark becomes Noah’s ART as nearly a dozen of the nation’s best street painters transform the park’s walkways into massive one-of-a-kind works of art that appear to come to life with stunning colors and 3D effects! Admission to the two-day event is free! Access to water attractions requires a purchase of a waterslide wristband.
Arktoberfest on August 30 & 31
Beer, food, polka and all of your favorite slides and attraction come together for one last splash of summer and a celebration of Wisconsin’s German heritage. The event features over a dozen regional beer vendors, a German-themed buffet and live entertainment. Admission to the event is free! Access to water attractions, beer sample card and buffet ticket require purchase.
Now you just have to decide which ones you are going to go to! Peyton and I will be at Noah’s Ark the first week in June so be sure to keep your eyes on our social media channels. We will be posting videos and pictures of all the fun we’re having and giving little tours of different areas.
