Crispy Air Fryer Pizza Wontons

Now that we’ve been using the air fryer for all things deep-fried I thought we would try to make pizza wontons in the air fryer! Air fryer pizza wontons are crispy and full of flavor. The kids love them! Better than any pizza roll from the freezer section.

Air Fryer Pizza WontonsTo make a batch of these Air Fryer Pizza Wontons you will need the following –

Wonton Wrappers
1/4 Cup Butter, melted
Pepperoni, bite size
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Pizza Sauce
1 Tbsp Basil
1 Tsp Garlic Salt

This recipe moves fairly quickly so I would suggest laying everything you need out before you begin.

Air fryer pizza wontons First, preheat your air fryer to 350F degrees

Next, on a clean work surface lay out the wonton wrappers. You can lay out as many as you would like to make.

When looking at your wonton wrapper divide it in half mentally so you have 2 triangles. Pick a side and that is the side all the items are going on.

Spoon some pizza sauce onto one side of the wonton wrapper

Sprinkle on some cheese and pepperoni

Then, spread some butter along the edges of the wonton wrapper and fold the wrapper to create a triangle.

Use a fork to seal the edges

Lightly brush the pizza wontons with the remaining melted butter

Sprinkle with garlic salt and basil

Air fryer pizza wontons are crispy and full of flavor. The kids love them! Better than any pizza roll from the freezer section.Place the pizza wontons in a single layer in your air fryer. Cook for 6-8 minutes, until the pizza wontons are golden brown.

Use a little pizza sauce for dipping and enjoy!

These are always a hit with the kids for after school snacks or when they have friends over.
