Descendants 2 is Now Available!

Yes, you read that correctly. Today is the day that you are able to bring home Descendants 2. No more being stuck watching it over and over again from the confines of your home on your DVR. At least that’s what we’ve been doing since July 21st when it originally aired.  But as of this morning, we can now leave the house and still watch Descendants 2! It’s already downloaded to Peyton’s iPad and the disc is in her portable dvd player.

We received Descendants 2 in the mail yesterday. When Peyton tore open that envelope there was hooting and hollering that could be heard a mile away.  She LOVES Evie, Uma and Mal (in that order). This kid has made me listen to the soundtrack nonstop when we are in the car ever since it arrived. We took it on a 5-hour road trip to Chicago earlier this month and listened to it over and over again. Let’s just say we both know every single word.  I have verses like “there’s so many ways to be wicked” and “long live having some fun” floating around in my head mixed in with a little “what’s my name? say it louder.” and “I never learned how to count because I’m number 1” and more.

Descendants 2 was awesome. It’s full of upbeat, catchy songs that will get you and your child up dancing around or singing your heart out or both.  It’s a movie the whole family can watch and will entertain babies all the way to grandma and grandpa.

If you’ve seen Descendants 2 I know you are hoping for a Descendants 3 to be made. Well, I watched the premiere night after show and it was disclosed that we have to want it for them to make. So make sure you head out and buy Descendants 2. Tweet out your love for Descendants 2 and your desire to see Descendants 3.  I will let you in on a little secret – The Descendants book series has 3 books so the odds are looking good for a Descendants 3 to have a script.
