With the holidays right around the corner, you may be looking for some gift ideas that you can make and gift. Or if you have someone that is difficult to shop for this is a great gift idea for them. Everyone needs to exfoliate so why not use a fun festive Peppermint Foot Scrub to keep those feet healthy and clean? This peppermint foot scrub is a great gift idea, place it in a mason jar or another decorative jar and it’s ready for gifting!
To make your own Peppermint Foot Scrub you will need the following –
- 1 cup Epsom Salt
- ½ cup olive oil
- 2 drops Cherry soap colorant
- 40 drops Peppermint essential oil
Decorative jar or mason jar to store your peppermint foot scrub in.
This recipe is extremely simple. The kids can help make this too! No baking or cooking required.
In a bowl, combine the Epsom salt and olive oil. Stir it really good until it’s combined and there is no oil pooling at the bottom of the bowl.
Next, add in the cherry soap colorant and peppermint essential oils. Start stirring! You want to make sure this is all mixed in and there are no liquids pooling at the bottom of the bowl.
Place in your desired air-tight container and store until you are ready to use or gift it. It will keep, stay fresh, for 3 months.
This is a fun recipe and always a hit for the holidays. And because it’s quick and simple to make you can make it the day you need it or even the week before. It also looks super cute if you take a little twine and tie a bow around the jar. You don’t have to use it just on your feet, you can also use it for your body so you can call it a peppermint body scrub too!
