Enjoy the Outdoors with Your Pet

I received one or more of the products or services mentioned above for free in the hope I would mention it on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services and believe will be good for my readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255: "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising."We live in a pretty heavily wooded area. That translates to lots and lots of nature, aka wildlife, aka coyotes, hawks, eagles, foxes and more. We also have pets, 2 large dogs and some cats. When we are spending time outside we love to bring them with us but because of the before mentioned predators, we can’t safely let our cats sit outside with us.  A hawk or eagle could swoop down and pick up one of the cats with their talons and off they go.  So I’ve been looking for a solution, one that would enable to the cats to be outside with us, get some fresh air but be safe at the same time. The RORAIMA Instant Dog tent lets us do just that! We can put the boys in the tent and all hang out on the patio.

Even though it says it’s a dog tent, it works perfectly fine for cats. It would also work well for small dogs but not for medium or large dogs. They just wouldn’t be able to fit!

The tent takes just a few seconds to unfold and then it’s ready for use. There is even a rain guard to put on but I didn’t use it. It was beautiful evening so I didn’t waste time with it. Plus, the whole reason I am using this is so we can all be out there and the cats can enjoy the time too. However, if it was super sunny out I would consider installing it to provide a little extra shade for my furbabies.

As you can see, the boys liked it! They weren’t sure what to think about it at first so we tossed a few toys in with them to put them at ease. I think we will be getting a little pad to put inside for them too. That way, they can lounge on something soft while they take in the fresh air. Both cats were totally up for hanging out.

Taking the tent down takes just a few minutes as well. Just pull up and it releases, fold the legs and place inside the storage bag.

If you are looking for a small tent for your four-legged family member this could be a great option. Or, like Peyton mentioned, this would also make a great tent for her American Girl dolls to camp in. So I’m not sure who is going to end up with this tent, Peyton and her dolls or the Sebastian and Jinx.
