It’s no secret that I LOVE my Dodge Journey. I fell in love with my first test drive of a Dodge Journey back in 2015. As soon as I put that SUV in drive and pressed down on the gas pedal I knew it was the vehicle I would be going home with. Let Kindle Dodge give you the same experience I had.
Here are my top 3 reasons why I love the Dodge Journey –
SPACE
There is so much space inside! We have plenty of cargo space to carry everything we need no what the day may hold. My 2 German Shepherds can lay down and be comfortable in the cargo area on the way to the office every morning. I’ve also hauled my daughter’s 14-inch bike and camp gear to my Aunt’s house 6 hours away while my daughter hand the whole back seat to herself to watch movies in and veg out. The front is pretty nice too! There’s plenty of room for me and all my “stuff” up front. I can have my phone charging in a little basket under the gear shift, cup holders in reach that light up at night so I can see what I am grabbing for and purse always has a space to sit.
Comfort Zones
This was seriously one of the main reason I bought my Journey. Dual zones are amazing in SUVs. Peyton can have the air on as cold as she wants or the heat as high as she likes and it doesn’t affect me. And I can have the front set anyway I like and it doesn’t matter to her. Plus, there are 2 vents in the cargo area so our puppies are getting air as well. And if we have our third row up our guests will be getting heat and air as well. I didn’t have that in my old car. We would drive around with blankets in the back seat for Peyton so she could cuddle up in them until the heat would finally reach her and heat up the whole car. But not anymore. Now she can turn that heat on high and get all toasty warm within minutes of getting in.
AWD
I know this is not standard and not every Journey has AWD but the two Journeys I have owned have both had AWD and I would never buy another vehicle without it. The traction control that kicks in when needed is priceless. It makes winter driving a breeze and takes a load off my plate. I’m already trying to navigate the weather and roads while trying to anticipate what other drivers are doing, having a vehicle that knows when to kick in traction control or alternate power to another wheel helps me focus on what’s going on around me while the vehicle takes care of the rest.
If you like what you’ve read head over to Kindle Dodge and test drive a Journey for yourself.
