Renting a venue is one of those things that sounds really expensive, but on paper, it’s actually not so bad. One of the issues that people seem to have with renting a venue are the costs involved. However, when you take everything into consideration, an all-inclusive children’s party at a venue could cost the same or less than what you’d pay for a home party and it’s less stress for you as the organizer.
So to help you out, here are four fantastic places where you can host a birthday party that will be unforgettable. If you’re hosting a party at a third-party venue, then it’s important that you hand out invitation cards no matter what destination you chose. You want everyone you invite to know where the venue is, what time it is and what kind of food there will be in case they have dietary needs. Invitation cards aren’t very hard to make with templates, so just keep in mind the information you need to add on to it.
Ice Skating
Ice skating is a fantastic activity that’s suitable for both a boy or girl’s birthday party. It’s active, easy to learn and ice skating venues are usually full of other services and amenities. You’ll most likely be able to book a party and have the staff prepare a birthday cake, celebrations and even music. Ensure that you speak to the staff and ask them what birthday party services they offer instead of just booking for a large group of children because they’re likely to
Bowling Alley
Much like ice skating, bowling alleys are fun for the whole group and anyone can get involved. There are bowling balls with various weights and for new players and you have the option of raising the edges so that the ball can’t go out of bounds. Much like ice skating, bowling alleys usually come with a host of different amenities such as restaurants to eat at and video games to play. The great thing with bowling is that you take turns, giving the kids a lot of time to chat with each other between turns. Depending on the number of players, however, you may need to set up two different bowling lanes.
Pool Party
If it’s hot and boiling out, then nothing cools you down like a refreshing swim. Most YMCA centers or hotels will accommodate large groups of children and they might even have birthday services or even private pools for groups to play and swim in. Having a pool party can get quite expensive and due to the nature of the activity, it’s not something that can be done while eating. This means you might need to plan some place to eat beforehand so that you can finish swimming, dry off, and then get changed back into your regular clothes.
Movie Theater
If there’s a new movie out aimed at children, then taking them all to see it can be a fantastic time for everyone. Many movie theaters have birthday party packages starting around $8 – $15 per child including a child size popcorn and drink. Plus there is usually a party room you can rent for a nominal fee to enjoy cake and open presents after the party. Also a great location to have parent meet to pick up thier children.
