Frozen 2 Winter Wonder Cookies

February 24, 2020 By Shanna Leave a Comment

Frozen was the first movie that Peyton ever saw in the movie theater. I remember how she sat on the edge of her seat the whole time, captivated by Elsa and Anna on the big screen. She was obsessed! When Frozen 2 came out, we both could not wait to see it. And we did. So far twice in theaters! And on Tuesday, you can buy your own copy of Frozen 2 to watch at home! Over and over and over again. So to celebrate the release of Frozen 2 we will be publishing Frozen-themed recipes all week!  Kicking off the week – Frozen 2 Winter Wonder Cookies!

Winter wonder cookies was a recipe that Toll House came up with, they even made limited edition Frozen 2 Blue & White Swirled Vanilla Morsels. Those are the main special ingredient in these special cookies. They were sold at limited stores throughout the country but they are available on Amazon. I highly suggest you order them right away if you want to make these cookies.

To make these Frozen 2 Winter Wonder Cookies you will need the following –

2 1/4 C Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 C Butter, room temperature
3/4 C Sugar
3/4 C Brown Sugar, packed
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 large Eggs
1 pk Frozen 2 Blue & White Swirles Vanilla Morsels

Start off by preheating the oven to 375 degrees. Make sure your rack is in the middle too.

Next, in a small bowl, combine the dry ingredients – Flour, baking soda, and salt.  Take a whisk and combine them while also knocking out any large clumps.

In a large bowl, combine the butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract with a hand mixer until creamy.

Add the eggs one at a time. Be sure to beat the batter until the egg is completely combined then add the second egg and repeat.

Slowly add in the flour mixture making sure it’s fully combined.

By hand, mix in the Frozen 2 blue and white morsels.

Prep your baking pan with parchment paper.

Take a small cookie scoop and scoop the cookie dough onto the baking sheet. These cookies do spread so leave about 2 inches in between the dough.

Bake for about 7-10 minutes. Be sure to keep an eye on these cookies as they tended to cook fast in my oven. It made a little more than 3 dozen cookies.

Be sure to keep an eye out for more Frozen recipes we have coming out this week.
