Holiday Duck Donuts for Santa

We were provided a complimentary dozen duck donuts in exchange for sharing about Duck Donuts. All opinions are our own and are not influenced by the complimentary dozen.

The holidays are full swing around here. We have the Christmas tree up and we are starting to do a little baking. But this year, I think we are going to do something a little different for Santa. All the other houses are going to be leaving Santa Claus a plate of cookies and milk. I would think after the millionth plate of cookie that Santa would appreciate something different. So this year, we are leaving him some of Duck Donuts holiday donuts on a plate with milk!

Each month, Duck Donuts comes out with a specialty dozen themed for the season. This month’s holiday dozen do not disappoint. The holiday assortment highlights festive combinations such as glaze with holiday-inspired sprinkles, vanilla with raspberry drizzle and their signature chocolate icing with chopped bacon.  And there are even a few with the mint icing! If you love the mint icing you’ll want to make sure you make it in this month as they only brought it back for the holidays.

If you’ve never experienced Duck Donuts you have to stop in one! Their donuts are made fresh, like right there while you wait. Then they are dipped in warm icing and have toppings added to them like raspberry drizzle, sprinkles, crushed peppermint and their signature chopped bacon.  You can order one donut or a dozen donuts. There are flavor combinations already designed and ready to order or you can create your own. And while they do taste best if you sit down and eat them right when you get them the trick to enjoying them later is popping them in the microwave for a few seconds to warm them up.  It brings back all that gooey goodness!

We’ve been enjoying Duck Donuts for a few months now and I must say they are a treat my family looks forward to. We cannot wait to see what flavor combinations they come up with each month. I know I’m excited to see what they do next year!

Our local Duck Donuts is located in Woodbury, Minnesota but they have a location coming to the Mall of America soon! And there are85 other locations for you to try too.  You can also order them for delivery!

So this year, instead of leaving a plate of cookies for dear old St. Nick, leave him a plate of Duck Donuts!
