One of my favorite things to do when at the Auto Show is stopping by all the areas and see what’s new and coming for the year. Mitsubishi has some pretty fun features on the horizon! Coming in a few short months you’ll be able to stop by West Loop Mitsubishi and check them out for yourself!
2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
The 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is getting a facelift! It’s scheduled to hit Europe in late fall 2018 and we all know the 2018 Outlander PHEV has been hard to get your hands on in here in the US. So if you are thinking about the 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV I would connect with the staff at West Loop Mitsubishi and see what they can do to help make your dream a reality.
The 2019 Outlander PHEV will have a 15% larger battery increasing the range. This is the first major upgrade to the PHEV since 2013. A few other changes to note –
A 2.4 Atkinson cycle petrol engine replaces the previous regular Otto cycle 2.0 liter. It allows for higher torque, smoother operation, and overall higher efficiency
The generator output is increased by 10%
The rear motor output is increased by 10%
The drive battery capacity is increased by 15% (13.8 kWh instead 12 kWh)
The drive battery output is increased by 10%
Those will be nice improvements for the Outlander PHEV Fans!
2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse
This would be the Mitsubishi I would want to bring home! The 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse is hitting showrooms this month! Positioned between the Outlander Sport subcompact crossover and the Outlander compact crossover in Mitsubishi’s lineup, the Eclipse Cross offers comfortable seating, lots of technology, and a little more fun appeal than other cars in the line. The base ES trim is the only model that does not come with standard AWD, I must have my AWD so I’d definitely be looking at a different trim or adding the option to the ES trim. A few of my favorite features in the SE trim are the keyless entry, push-button start, upgraded interior materials, and some active safety features. Mitsubishi is anticipating the SE trim to be the consumers favorite because of those features. There are so many trims and options available in the Eclipse that you can make this SUV into the one of your dreams. With features like a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and a premium sound system, you’ll have fun building your next SUV.
The 2018 Mitsubishi line up is hitting showrooms this month. Be sure to stop in West Loop Mitsubishi to see all that is new for 2018!
