Is it Time for a Minivan?

Starting a family is an exciting time. But I remember once I found out I was pregnant, one of the first things I considered changing was our vehicle. Sedans can be a little cramped when your start adding car seats and bringing along baby gear.  Maybe it’s time to consider a minivan? I know, I used to cringe at the word minivan too. But they are not the same as what our parents drove us around in. Now they have some pretty nice ones.  The Chrysler Pacifica is rated #2 in minivans and has some pretty neat features, in my opinion.

The Chrysler Pacific comes in a gas or hybrid option to purchase. I’m going to focus on the gas option but I wanted to let you know there is hybrid option as well.

There are lots and lots of features in this minivan! I really like the stow and go seating. While it can fit up to 8 passengers at one time you can also change the seating configuration to meet your needs within seconds.  The back area with 3 seats is actually a 40/60 split that can be folded down with a touch of a button to increase your cargo area!  They claim there is over 240 different seating combination possibilities so I’m sure you’ll be able to find one that works for your needs. But I want to go back to that stow and go seating at a touch of a button. How cool is that? All you do is press a button and the third row folds up and disappears into the floor. Hands-free. No effort for you, besides touching the button.

My next favorite feature is the built-in stow vac. Everyone parents dream! Do you know how many times I have had to go in the house and lug out my hug vacuum because Peyton has dropped Cheerios or Fruit Loops in the car? Tons! Not with the Pacifica! You just reach over, pull the vacuum out of the storage area and vacuum up the small messes before they become huge messes. It’s a great way to keep your new vehicle feeling new even when you are hauling around little messy toddlers.

These are just a few of the features of the Chrysler Pacifica but I think they are notable ones. There is also a ton of storage hidden in the floor of the Pacifica which makes it perfect for road trips! What would be your dream feature in a minivan?
