July Ipsy Bag July 2016

My IPSY bag finally arrived! I swear it takes forever to get here. But I’m super excited about this months bag. Every single product in the bag is brand new to me. And a few of my favorite brands are included!When my IPSY bag arrived, at first I was surprised by how flat it was. The past few months it has been very bulky. But not this month. So at first I was a little disappointed. Then I opened it. Instantly, those feeling of disappointment disappeared and were replaced with excitement.

The first item I pulled out of my IPSY bag was NS Anti-frizz sheets. I had to take a closer look to see what they were. They are sheets with coconut oil in them you can use to help control fly-aways and frizz.  I’m thinking these are going to be amazing with Peyton’s curly hair. I’m definitely saving them and taking them with us to Disney World. Then I can use them to touch up Peyton’s hair mid-day.The next item I pulled out of the bag was the skyn Iceland the antidote cooling daily lotion. Actually, I could smell it the second I opened the pink mailer before I even knew what it was. I cannot put my finger on the scent but it’s minty and refreshing.

I was really excited when I saw Too Faced as I reached into the bag to retrieve the next product. When I pulled it out I saw Too Faced’s HangoverRX replenishing face primer! I have been wanting to try this out. So I’m super excited to have this one in my bag.

Next up was Meet Matt(e) Trimony eye shadow by The Balm. I receive Matt Kumar which is a matte cranberry eyeshadow.  Everyone was getting a The Balm eyeshadow this month. I just wasn’t sure if I was getting the matte cranberry or matte plum. Honestly, either one would’ve been fine. I love both of them.

And last up was an eyeshadow brush (goes nicely with my new cranberry eyeshadow) by Vasanti.

The bag this month is very sparkly! At first, I thought they were peppermints but then I looked closer and saw they were the tops of beach umbrellas. Very cute!

So was this bag worth the $10 it cost me? Yes, I think it was. I’m very excited to try out some new products. And I love getting my bag each month.
