Let CORT Help You Through Life’s Transitions

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of CORT for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Everyone goes through a time or two in their life where they are in a major transition. I know I have gone through a few! Whether it’s moving to a new town, across the country, coping with a home remodeling project or building a home or being on an extended stay for work, CORT can help make those times less stressful.

Remodeling NightmareLast summer we remodeled. It was a HUGE project. Everything we owned had to be taken out of the house and we had to move out. It was only supposed to be a for a few weeks but it ended up being 2 months. Two whole months of trying to live out of a suitcase and hoping from family and friend’s homes to hotels until they were finished. I wish we had known about CORT then. It would have made life so much easier.

CORT is a furniture rental company that can help you through those transitional periods in your life. For us, I could have rented a little studio apartment and CORT would’ve brought in all the furniture. And then when our home was ready, CORT would’ve come back and picked up the furniture. I could order as much or as little furniture as I wanted. That would have been nice. That would have taken so much stress out of my life.

CORT Rent by the roomImagine, coming home to the same place while your house is being remodeled or you are waiting for the home you are building to be finished. No need to move your own furniture 2 or 3 times. Just leave it packed in a trailer or POD and rent furniture from CORT. It would have given Peyton stability while we were in transition and it would have saved my sanity.

While I loved visiting with our friends and family last summer and I really did enjoy staying in a variety of hotels, it was exhausting having to live out our suitcases all summer. If I had known about CORT we could’ve stayed in one place.

Moving ChaosCORT is also perfect if you have a child heading off to college. We live in Minnesota but I know Peyton wants to go somewhere warm for college. I know she’ll come home every summer. Do I really want to pay to move her furniture back and forth for 4 years? Or try to find a short term storage unit and pay to move her furniture in and out every spring and fall? No! CORT can help you furnish your apartment and when it’s time to move, they will come and pick up the furniture. All I will have to move is Peyton’s clothes! (Though I may still have to get a trailer for that. Peyton has an obsession with shoes and clothes.)

CORT Furniture Rental can also save your sanity during the holidays. Have company coming and need to turn an empty room into a guest room? Give CORT a call and they can bring you everything you need. When your guests have left, call CORT and they’ll come pick up the furniture. It’s a great way to prepare your home for special events.

Next time you find yourself in need, check out CORT Furniture Rental. Let them help take the stress out your life.
