I know Peyton and I have been slacking on putting up recipe posts lately, but that’s all about to change! We are getting ready to get back in the groove of posting healthy, tasty, yummy family-focused recipes. But while you are waiting for those, did you know that you can sign your little one up for cooking classes at Williams Sonoma?? I had no clue, until early this morning. I was checking my emails and one of my favorite people had sent me the info. I was squealing when I saw it. But I had to wait until 10 am to see if there were any spots open for Peyton to attend.
From what I gather, every weekend or every other weekend Williams Sonoma puts on a cooking class for the 8-13-year-old crowd. That’s just a suggested age. Peyton’s not 8 years old yet, but she loves to cook and she loves to watch Master Chef Jr. So if your 7-year-old is comfortable in the kitchen and enjoys cooking sign them up! I wouldn’t let the suggest age discourage you. Next weekend, March 3rd, they are having a Beauty and the Beast inspired cooking class!
Le Creuset is sponsoring this wonderful class and they will also be debuting their new Beauty and the Beast Soup Pot! Just look at that pot!! I want it! We make lots of homemade soup and it would be perfect for our soup recipe posts!!
With Disney’s Beauty and the Beast hitting theater’s March 17th this is a great way to get the kids excited. Call your local Williams Sonoma store to sign up for the Beauty and the Beast cooking class. The kids will learn how to make Beastly Bread Pudding and Chip’s Favorite Banana-Oat Chocolate Chip Cookies! YUM!
And if you are heading the Rosedale, Minnesota Williams Sonoma you’ll see Peyton! We are attending the cooking class too!
Hope to see some of you there. Be sure to take lots of pictures of your child making Beastly Bread Pudding and post to Instagram. Tag your social media photos with #BeOurGuest or #BeautyAndTheBeast so we can all follow along.
