Even though it’s the holidays and there’s lots of parties and events to head out to, it’s still nice to find a nice book, curl up in front of a fireplace and enjoy a little me time. Mrs. Chartwell and the Cat Burglar is the perfect book to curl up with this winter. There’s adventure, romance and more all wrapped up in 238 pages.
This is Pamela Gossiaux’s second book and it’s a good one! There are 2 main characters – Abigail Chartwell and Tony the Cat Burglar.
Abigail Chartwell is a widow. Six years ago, on a cold icy night, she lost her husband in a tragic accident. He was the love of her life. Losing him ripped out her heart and she threw herself in to her work. She’s been hiding behind a desk and thick glasses surrounding herself with ancient maps at the university library.
Tony the Cat Burglar is a thief. But he’s handsome and charming and on a mission. He believes there is a map in the University’s library that will lead him to the “lost painting” of famous Italian artist Antonio Russo.
Abigail and Tony cross paths when Tony decides to break into the University library by dropping down on a rope. Now the adventure begins! But what will happen? Will Abigail turn him in to the police? or the university? Or will Abigail join Tony on this wild adventure? Is there really a “lost painting”? Will they fall in love? If you want to find out the answer to any of the questions then you’ll have to pick up a copy of the book!
Mrs. Chartwell and the Cat Burglar is available at your local bookstore, on Amazon, iBook, Kobo, Goodreads and Barnes and Noble.
