I’m sure you’ve seen the previews for COCO on television. I see them every night and just love watching Dante chase the bone through town until the bone reunites with its owner. Dante is just too adorable! I am extremely excited for COCO to hit theaters this Thanksgiving.
Today, Disney released a new trailer for COCO! And guess what? Dante is in this one too! I just love that dog.
Well, that’s some new insight into the movie! I cannot wait to see how Miguel maneuvers through the land of the dead while trying to make it back to his own world before time runs out and he has to stay forever! It’s Disney so we all know that Miguel makes it home. So nothing to worry there!
But I do wonder what made his great grandfather leave town and to never return. What happened to him? Why did he never contact his wife ever again? Miguel, with the help of Hector, is determined to find out before he returns home.
This is definitely a family friendly movie that I plan on catching with Peyton opening weekend. What a great way to unwind and relax after eating all that turkey and snatching up all the black Friday deals?
Here’s the official synopsis according to Disney –
Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams
of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to
prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of
events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off
on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history. Directed by Lee Unkrich (“Toy
Story 3”), co-directed by Adrian Molina (story artist “Monsters University”) and produced by Darla K. Anderson
(“Toy Story 3”), Disney•Pixar’s “Coco” opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 22, 2017.
