Perks of Having Repairs Done at the Dealership

Did you know there are perks to having your routine vehicle maintenance and repairs done at the dealership? Well, there are! Here are just a few of the perks that you’ll find when you take your vehicle to the dealership rather than a stand-alone garage.

Shuttle Services

You are in a time crunch but need that oil change and tire rotation. But you do not have the time to sit at the dealership for an hour however, you could drop your car off on the way to work if you could get a ride to work. And we all know, finding someone to take us to work while our car is being worked on is a total pain. Most dealerships offer shuttle service within so many miles for your convenience. So, set up that appointment, get to work on time and let them work on your car while you do your job. I do this often. It makes life so much easier! Plus, I never have to take my little one and wait at the dealership.

Car Rental Services

Have a major repair that needs to be done but you have to keep moving. Like there is soccer practice that kids need to be taken to and grocery shopping to be done. Get a rental. They can have it all ready to go for you so the downtime is little when you drop off your vehicle for service. Then, when your vehicle is ready, simply return the rental car to the dealership and pick up your car.

Drop Off Services

If you are fine with leaving your vehicle for them to work on but do not have time to drop it off during operating hours, no worries! You can drop it off after the kids are in bed for the night or after you’re done running errands. Park your vehicle in the designated parking area and place your keys in the key drop area. They’ll get to work on your car the next morning.  I’ve done this a few times as well.

Taking your vehicle to the dealership for service has its perks.
