Being that it’s just Peyton and I we end up tossing out a lot of leftovers. I simply cannot eat everything by myself and Peyton only eats one meal a day at home. But today when I opened the fridge I saw leftover pizza! I immediately thought about tossing it in Peyton’s lunch but I wanted to make it fun so I took out these little pie crust cutters and cut a large pizza slice into little butterflies! It was a win win. Peyton is going to have a fun pizza lunch box and I am getting to use up our leftovers!Next in her box, I sliced up some red and green grapes. For some reason if I slice them in two she eats them. Plus I can fit more in her bento box if they are sliced in two.
I spotted a few pudding cups in the back of the fridge so I scooped one into her box. Chocolate and vanilla pudding cups are a great one to keep on hand for after school snacks and lunch boxes.
I’m still using up the trail mix. And there still are no M&Ms. Just nuts and raisins. So far no complaints out of Peyton.
And lastly, I tossed in a few of the Finding Dory Goldfish crackers. It’s amazing how long one little bag lasts!
Below are links to some of the tools I used to create today’s Bento Box –
