Strawberry season is upon us in Minnesota! And what better way than making some strawberry-themed cocktails? This Strawberry Rose Gin Cocktail is a great way to celebrate the strawberry season and kick off summer. A combination of strawberry lemonade and rose gin with a splash of simple syrup topped off with strawberry and lemon garnishes make a fun, summer cocktail.
To make this strawberry rose gin cocktail you will need the following –
3 Ounce Strawberry Lemonade
2 Ounce Strawberry Rose Gin
1/2 OunceSimple Syrup
Ice Cubes
Lemon Slices
Strawberries
Mason Jar Glasses
Decorative Straws
Cocktail Shaker
Pro-Tip – Use large ice cubes for your cocktail shaker and cocktail. The bigger the ice cube the longer it takes to melt so the cocktail is not watered down. For the ice cubes used in the cocktail, you could make ice cubes out of the strawberry lemonade and add a little lemon and strawberry slice. It’ll add some color to your cocktail and impress your guests.
Fill your cocktail shaker with a few ice cubes.
Next, add in 3 ounces of strawberry lemonade, 2 ounces of strawberry rose gin, and 1/2 ounce of simple syrup.
If you do not have an ounce measuring cup you can use a shot glass. One shot glass is roughly 1 ounce to 1.5 ounces. Just make sure to keep the proportions in check. So if you use 3 shots of strawberry lemonade be sure to use 2 shots of strawberry rose gin and 1/2 shot of simple syrup.
Place the top on the cocktail shaker and shake well.
Add some ice cubes to your glass.
Remove the cocktail shaker top and pour over the ice in your glass.
Garnish with strawberries and sliced lemons.
Enjoy!
