Kids are surrounded by technology. Everywhere they turn there is a screen enticing them into playing a game or watching a movie. Terra by Battat has created several lines of figurines that engage a child’s imagination. Most children love to play with miniature toys, I know Peyton does. Peyton loves to play with the animal figurines from Terra. We own several of the sets.
This year Peyton asked Santa for realistic animals, that’s what she calls the sets by Terra. And I am going to help Santa out by picking up a few sets. I started looking for these in September. They seem to sell out fairly quickly at our local Target, so whenever I saw a set we did not have I picked it up. Now, I think we own nearly every set and I can start focusing on buying the individual animals.
Terra has family sets, those are Peyton’s favorite. In the set, you’ll receive 2 adult animals and 2 baby animals. I found the brown bear, polar bear and lion families while I was at Target over the past few months.
They also have playsets, in these, you’ll receive two animals and a play piece. I was lucky to find all four sets over the past few months. Peyton is going to be super excited when she opens them up. Typically, we don’t see these at the store. I think they sell out as soon as they stock the shelves. There’s a dalmatian set, cat set, bunny set and dog set.
The firehouse set (dalmatian set), comes with 2 dalmatians and a dog house that is reminiscent of a firehouse.
The bunny hutch set comes with 2 bunnies and a hutch that opens three different ways!
The cat tree set comes with 2 cats and a cat tree that the cats can play in.
The dog house comes with 2 dogs and a dog house.
I like how sturdy all the Terra sets are. Peyton can take them outside and play with them on the rocks or in the dirt. Then she can bring them inside and play with them in the bathtub. We’ve owned a few Terra sets for a couple years and they still look as good as the day we brought them home.
