Surviving the Hectic Holiday Season

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Ricola Dual Action Honey. All opinions are 100% mine.

The holidays are upon us and that means parents everywhere are scrambling. They are trying to balance home, work and finding the perfect holiday gift for their kids. Now, try doing that with just 1 parent. That’s my life.  I’m mom, dad, chauffer, chef, tutor, housekeeper, pet wrangler and more. All by myself. And when a sore throat sneaks up on me I don’t have downtime. There are no sicks days for parents. No one else is going to do everything I do while I rest. I have to power through it and push on.  I can’t let a sore throat or a cough derail me, that’s where Ricola comes in.

Ricola Dual Action Honey-LemonRicola has Dual Action Honey Lemon drops with a liquid center that helps soothe my sore throat and quiet my cough while letting me keep moving throughout my day and getting things done. And they are Available at Walmart, where I shop making them convenient for me to pick up while I’m out running errands.

Last night, Peyton and I had a ton of errands to accomplish. It’s the holidays and those errands seem like they are never-ending. We needed groceries, to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy, pet food and more. While we were are WalMart shopping for groceries I swung by the health area and grabbed a few packs of the Ricola Dual Action Honey-Lemon drops. With our crazy weather and having a small child in school I know it’s only a matter of time before the sore throat and cough kooties hit our house and I want to be prepared.

I love how I can pick up Ricola while out running errands. No special stop, just a quick trip down the aisle and I’m back on my way. And because they are individually wrapped I can keep them anywhere and everywhere. I have a few in the armrest of my car for when a tickle arrives while I’m out and about. I have them in the side pocket of my purse too. And I keep them in the drawer of my home office as well as my office. That way, no matter where I am, sore throat and cough relief is at my fingertips.

So, if you are like me, busy, crazy life with no downtime and little ones in the house, I suggest prepping for the holidays. Next time you’re at Walmart picking up those last minute items, swing through and pick up some Ricola Dual Action Honey-Lemon drops. Trust me, when it’s 2 am and you are wrapping those presents, trying to be quiet and stealthy so no one wakes up and a little tickle starts in the back of your throat you’ll be thankful you have them on hand.
