Target’s Beauty Box

I love getting beauty boxes in the mail. It’s a way for me to experiment with new products without having to invest too much money in them to find out if I like them or not. Occassionally Target sells a beauty box between $5-$10. And nearly every time I order it. Here’s what was in the most recent Target Beauty Box.

Clairol Hair Food
A FULL size product! Clairol has a new line called Hair Food. It’s paraben free as well as mineral oil free. It’s a moisture hair mask infused with honey apricot fragrance. And it does smell pretty amazing! It’s also simple to use. During your shower routine apply the hair food on damp and work from the tips to the scalp. Leave on for 5-10 minutes then rinse it out. This mask will help remove any dulling residues leaving your hair full of shine.

Fekkai Pre-Soleil Hair Mist
This one is a travel size of the Fekkai product. Great for helping protect your hair from the sun. So for those getting ready to take off to a warm sunny destination to escape the cold this is a must. Before you use the hair mist you will want to shake it up well to activate the ingredients and spritz it on damp hair before going into the sun. This will help protect your hair from sun damage and also leave you with a nice shine.

Olay Active Botanicals
These are deluxe sample size. Olay Active Botanicals is the newest addition to Olay’s skin care lines. There is a moisturizing toner and day lotion included in the package. The day lotion is supposed to hydrate your skin for up to 24 hours. This will be great for those cold, blistery days we will soon be having. Th toner will help to remove any dirt or oil your cleanser missed.

CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara by Lashblast
Another full size product! Claims to give you up to 400% fuller lashes. The secret is in the applicator brush. You also need to twirl the wand as you apply to achieve the maximum fullness.

Crest 3D Whitestrips 1 hr Express
I must say this was the most disappointing item in the box. There was 1 little sample. How am I supposed to see results with 1 try? But hey at least I’ll know if I like it or not before I buy a full box.

Is the Target Box worth it? I though so. I had fun trying new products. I can honestly say everything in the box were products I had never used before.
