Eek! The Croods: A New Age is coming to a theater near you next week! Just in time for the Thanksgiving Day weekend!
Peyton is a huge Croods fan. She has seen the first movie over and over and over. She’s also watched every episode of the series at least a dozen times. So when she heard they were releasing a Croods 2 she freaked out. She couldn’t wait to see it.
After watching The Croods: A New Age I can assure you that you and your children will be thoroughly entertained. Universal did a great job at writing humor that is multi-dimensional. Meaning your children will laugh at the jokes and so will you, but you’ll both find them funny for different reasons.
The Croods: A New Age is truly a family film. The whole family from the littles to the grandparents will enjoy this one. There are not many films that can do that, but this is one of them.
Universal brought back our favorite family, The Croods but we’ll also meet some new characters in A New Age. Joining the cast this time around is Ryan Reynolds (Guy), Leslie Mann (Dawn Betterman), Peter Dinklage (Phil Betterman), and Kelly Marie Tran (Hope Betterman).
The Croods have survived their fair share of dangers and disasters, from fanged prehistoric beasts to surviving the end of the world, but now they will face their biggest challenge of all: another family. The Croods need a new place to live. So, the first prehistoric family sets off into the world in search of a safer place to call home. When they discover an idyllic walled-in paradise that meets all their needs, they think their problems are solved … except for one thing. Another family already lives there: the Bettermans. The Bettermans (emphasis on the “better”)—with their elaborate tree house, amazing inventions and irrigated acres of fresh produce—are a couple of steps above the Croods on the evolutionary ladder. When they take the Croods in as the world’s first houseguests, it isn’t long before tensions escalate between the cave family and the modern family. Just when all seems lost, a new threat will propel both families on an epic adventure outside the safety of the wall, one that will force them to embrace their differences, draw strength from each other and forge a future together.
So if you are looking for something to do with the family next weekend, consider checking out The Croods: A New Age. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.
