Who doesn’t like a good family friendly movie? I know I do! I’m always looking for movies that may interest our whole family. Dog Days seems to be one of those movies. And it hits the theater in just a few days! August 8th to be exact.
This weekend was the world premiere of Dog Days in sunny Los Angeles. The event took place at the Westfield Century City AMC at 2:00 PM. A pre-party took place at the Westfield Century City Atrium with the red carpet and screening following. Many of the cast were in attendance like Nina Dobrev, Vanessa Hudgens, Eva Longoria, Rob Corddry, Tone Bell, Jon Bass, Michael Cassidy and Finn Wolfhard; Director Ken Marino; and LD Entertainment Executives Mickey Liddell and Pete Shilaimon. A few of those I would’ve swooned over meeting!
Here’s a little breakdown of Dog Days –
From acclaimed production company, LD Entertainment (The Zookeeper’s Wife, Jackie, and Megan Leavey) and Director Ken Marino comes Dog Days. Dog Days is a hilarious and heartfelt ensemble comedy that follows the lives of multiple dog owners and their beloved fluffy pals around sunny Los Angeles. When these human and canine’s paths start to intertwine, their lives begin changing in ways they never expected.
Now I cannot give you an opinion on the movie, I’ve only seen the same trailers that you have. But I can tell you, Peyton and I will be going to see it once it hits theaters this week. We’ll share our thoughts after we’ve seen it. It is rated PG and has a run time of 113 minutes so it does appear to be kid friendly in many aspects.
Anyone else excited for Dog Days to open this week? I know we are! It’s going to be on our $5 Tuesday movie night list!
