We have another great teacher gift idea for Valentine’s Day! Don’t gift the boring heart-shaped box of chocolates to the teacher this year, have your child help you make them a Valentine’s Sugar Scrub! Sugar scrubs are gentle enough they can be used every day making this a gift that is great for getting the winter icks off daily. Plus it smells amazing because it’s strawberry scented! If strawberry is not your favorite scent you can switch it out for another fragrance.
To make this Valentine’s Sugar Scrub at home you will need to the following –
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 drops Cherry Soap Colorant
- 15 drops Strawberry Fragrance Oil
- 1 tablespoon heart sprinkles
This only takes a few minutes to make and since there is no cooking involved it’s a good one to enlist the little ones help in making. And because there are no chemicals it’s also perfect for little ones to help with too.
First, you are going to mix the sugar and olive oil in a small bowl. Be sure to stir these really well so it’s completely combined.
Next, add the cherry soap colorant and mix well.
Then add the strawberry fragrance oil. Remember, if you are not a fan of strawberry you can switch this out for a different fragrance. Be sure to mix this well.
Lastly, add the heart sprinkles and give it a quick stir.
Now you’re done! All that’s left is pouring it into an airtight container, such as a mason jar.
You can gift this to someone special in your life or keep it for yourself. Just be sure to store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container when not using.
