Year End Closeout Deals Are Here

Have you been thinking about buying a new vehicle? I always love dreaming about new vehicles and which one I would buy this time. Right now is a great time to buy. The dealerships are trying to move their 2018 inventory to make room for 2019 inventory and that can mean some big saving to you!

Because we are looking at taking advantage of year-end closeout deals you may need to be a little flexible. Remember, this is year-end closeout, as in these are the cars that did not sell during the year.  There is nothing wrong with these cars but for whatever reason, they did not make it home with someone.

Some things to be flexible on – color. I have noticed that the most common color available this time of year is black. Yep, black. I really think they make a ton of black vehicles because it’s a safe color. So if you have your heart set on the trendy color of the year, the likely hood of finding it right now on closeout is slim but not impossible.

Also, be open to different packages. Sometimes, the cars that are left behind can have some of the more expensive package deals. That can mean big savings to you for some pretty neat features you may not have considered otherwise. You may find yourself getting more luxury features than you had considered!

Do some legwork! Go online and check out the local dealership’s inventory before you head out. Be sure that what you are thinking of purchasing is available on the lot.  And be willing to test drive a few vehicles too. I remember a few years ago I went into a dealership sure of what type of vehicle I was going to buy. I had my heart set on it, or so I thought. I test drove about 5 vehicles that day and I ended up going a completely different route! A route I had never even considered before.

So, is this a great time to buy? Yes! But be open, take it all in, do a little research and have fun picking out your new car.
