I have a little one and she LOVES to have tea parties. Outside. Where there is hard surfaces that would break porcelain. So when I was offered the chance to try out the 100% copper mug for Moscow mule in exchange for my honest and unbiased review I agreed.
When the mug arrived I was impressed with how shiny it was. It’s an absolute beautiful mug. I could see myself using it to hold pens on my desk or even clips. But I had bigger plans for the mug! I wanted to use it at our outdoor tea party. It was a beautiful day out – one of our first days that we reached the 70s! That’s a big deal here. Since my daughter is only 5 we made lemonade to use as our “tea”. And then we took our tea party outside to the back yard. I poured the ice cold lemonade into the mug and gave it to my daughter. I was using a normal old glass with ice cubes. My daughter loved the copper mug. As we were sitting out in the sun it started to frost up. And the lemonade tasted wonderful! While my lemonade was getting watered down with ice cubes and warm from the sun her lemonade was still cold and not watered down. I was a little jealous I had let her use it!
Once we were done with the picnic I took the mug in and cleaned it with some mild soapy warm water and let it air dry. It’s a great mug. Having a set of them would be a great way to entertain without any worry of someone dropping a glass and breaking it. And the drinks would stay cooler longer than glassware.
