9 Things Every Girl Needs Just In Case. PERIOD.

Think back to when you were a little girl. I think I was in 3rd or 4th grade when “the talk” happened.  The boys were sent to the gym and the girls were sent to the cafeteria. The boys spent the afternoon in the gym playing basketball. We spent the afternoon learning about puberty, more specifically periods. Then we were sent home with a little purple box with a few big bulky maxi pads.  And that was it. Until you actually got your period. PantyProp Just in Case KitBack in the 80s periods were not a topic of conversation. At least in my family, we never really talked about it. Having a daughter myself, I try to keep the conversation open. Right now, Peyton is only 6 years old but I was 11 when I got my first period. I want her to be prepared. I was not. Even though we had that talk in the cafeteria I still didn’t understand how this all worked.

When I saw the “Just in Case Period Kit” by Panty Prop I couldn’t help but look into it. I know I have a few years till Peyton goes through puberty but I like to keep up to date on what is available.

Here’s what’s included in the kit –

PantyProp Secure Pad Underwear
Be Prepared Q&A Guide
Discreet Satin Carry Pouch
Hand Sanitize
Wipes
Feminine Pads
Carry Case
Lip Balm
Life Planner

What really caught my attention was the PantyProp Secure Pad Underwear. Even us adult women could use these. When you are a teen or preteen and trying to navigate the world of feminine hygiene there are bound to be some leaks. You are trying to figure out that balance of having to excuse yourself to the restroom more often than normal to take care of business and still being a kid. The PantryProp underwear will help protect you from leaks. Panty Prop UnderwearHere are some highlights on the underwear –

Absorbent Leak Guard will help stop leaks or stains
Two Layer Shape Crotch Panel locks, secures, and tucks sanitary pad under the vulva
Discreet Concealing Design hides the view of maxi-pad
Soft Spandex Fabrics are breathable, comforting, figure hugging, and bounce-back for perfect fit
Helps the use of the entire sanitary pad coverage area by securing pad directly under crotch.

And the underwear comes in designs a teen would want to wear! There are prints and patterns, you are not stuck with basic black undies. Panty Prop Stripped UnderwearIf you have a daughter, I suggest looking into the Just in Case Period Kit. In my opinion, this would be a good addition to her locker supplies. You never know when that first period is going to happen.
