We are getting ready to go on some fabulous road trips in the next two months! I can’t wait to share all these adventures with you guys. One of the places we will be heading to is Mount Rushmore. While we are there we’ll also be taking in some of the parks and enjoying the hiking trails. And I am sure, that at least one of use will slip, fall and scrape a knee. It’s a given with 2 kids in tow. Heck, Peyton can fall getting out of the car and scrape her legs up. Having a first aid kit with you in the car is always a good idea. We are now carrying with us the First Aid Kit by Patch-Up. It is full of so many items that other first aid kits are missing.
Here’s a run down of what you’ll find inside the kit –
Compartment #1:
24 regular sized adhesive bandages
30 kid’s sized adhesive bandages
30 small adhesive bandages
20 circle adhesive bandages
10 medium butterfly adhesive bandages
10 medium lined (shaped flatter) butterfly bandages

1 gel-like strip
4 disposable gloves
1 mask (I think to breathe into for CPR)
10 hand wash cleaning wipes
4 masks (I think to protect from blood and germs)
Compartment #4:
1 emergency blanket
1 instant ice pack
Compartment #5
10 alcohol pads
4 sling relief medicated pads
4 triple antibiotic ointment packs
1 pair of scissors (medical scissors I think)
2 temperature strips
1 pair of tweezers
10 safety pins
4 tongue suppressors
1 small pack of cotton buds

2 sterile gauze sponges
1 sterile gauze pad (10 cm x 10 cm)
1 wound pad (10 cm x 10 cm)

That’s a lot of items! I have purchased several first aid kits and I have never received such a comprehensive list of items. We also camp a few times a year as well. This kit will definitely be coming with us when we are camping.
Having a comprehensive first aid kit like the First Aid Kid by Patch-Up helps to ease my worries when we are out and about. I know that we can handle the minor injuries with this kit. You can purchase your own First Aid Kit by Patch-Up on amazon.
