Peyton has always been somewhat of a fashionista. From the time she could talk she has been pretty insistent on what she would and would not wear. She’s been wanting to share her sense of style with you all for a while now but life has just gotten in the way. But this week Peyton made time to take pictures every morning before school or at school and then insisted I share them on social media throughout the week. For some reason, she was finally ready to make the commitment to this project. I’ll be sharing with you some of Peyton’s favorites throughout the week on Instagram and then a weekly recap here with places to purchase the pieces, if possible.
There were only 4 days of school this week so there are only 4 days of outfits to share. I’m still not sure why we had Monday off but whatever. So here are her looks and I’ll try to post links to where you can buy some of these outfits as well.
Tuesday’s Outfit
Today was a fun outfit. I had just ordered this Dot Dot Smile dress on Sunday and it already came! It’s a new print and Peyton could not wait to get her little hands on it. But it’s also cold outside so I insisted we pair it with a white jean jacket and jeggings. That way, she can still wear her new dress but stay warm at the same time.
Dress: Dot Dot Smile
Pants: Target Jean Jeggings
Jacket: Old Navy White Jean Jacket
Wednesday’s Outfit
It was another day for a dress! Peyton really prefers to wear dresses so today she wore another Dot Dot Smile dress in an empire cut along with black jeggings. I couldn’t convince her to wear a jacket today but I did send a sweater along with her to school. She loves wearing the empire style dress because it allows for full movement with no restrictions. Pretty important when you are a busy 2nd grader!
Dress: Dot Dot Smile
Pants: Kohls Black Jeggings
Thursday’s Outfit
Today Peyton was going to be ice skating for gym class so I wanted to her have full range of motion and be warm. I wasn’t sure if they would go out since we were under a wind chill advisory but I wanted to be safe. So, I pulled out a pair of lined leggings by Gymboree and paired it with a long sleeve sparkle swing top. Peyton added the black boots and I think it looks pretty amazing! She also had to add a headband for more sparkle!
Headband: Amazon
Shirt: Gymboree Sparkle Swing Tee
Pants: Gymboree Lined Leggings
Boots: Payless
Friday’s Outfit
It is still freezing cold here in Minnesota. Today the temp was -18 when we left for school so I insisted Peyton wear another pair of lined leggings but she insisted on wearing her dalmatian t-shirt. Then I put a sweater in her backpack just in case her arms get cold. She normally runs pretty hot but it’s freezing cold out today. And she found that headband somewhere in the house and just had to have it on! She is my character!
Headband: Target (a few Easters ago)
Shirt: Cat & Jack from Target
Pants: Gymboree lined leggings
Boots: Payless
Those were Peyton’s designs for the week. I hope you enjoyed seeing them, I know she had a blast creating them!
