Bad Moms are Back!

I remember the first time I saw Bad Moms in the theater. I laughed so hard! There were so many parts of the movie that I could relate to. The psycho PTA president at her kid’s school, the different types of moms you come across and more. But what I really loved is how it was all delivered with humor! Us moms could use more humor in our lives. We need to laugh more and really enjoy ourselves, remember that we are more than moms. We are women that need to let loose and not lose ourselves in our families.

Now there’s a Bad Moms Christmas! That’s right, the same Bad Moms that made us laugh until we cried are back for an encore performance in Bad Moms Christmas. Now, I missed seeing this in the theater. Being a single momma finding a sitter around the holidays can be a challenge so I had to wait for this to come to DVD.

Guess what? It was worth the wait! When it arrived I couldn’t wait to watch it but it’s winter and I cannot send Peyton outside to play. So I sent her to my bedroom to watch a movie, I gave her popcorn, ice water, and even some candy if she stayed in there and watched her shows until I came and got her. That way, I knew I would be able to watch Bad Moms Christmas without any interruptions. And let’s be honest, this is not a kid-appropriate show, that’s why it’s rated R.

Oh, I LOVED Bad Moms Christmas! It made me laugh, laugh so hard I was crying! My favorite line was – Moms don’t enjoy Christmas they give Joy! I think the reason so many of us moms love this franchise is because we can relate. on some level, we can all relate. We’ve all stayed up till the wee hours of the morning wrapping Christmas presents. Spent weeks, even months picking out the perfect presents for everyone. And then, on Christmas morning, we get NOTHING. Or maybe we get coupons for “shitty backrubs”. But we never complain. We just smile and enjoy watching everyone else open presents.

There is something in this movie for all moms to relate to. And it’s a way for us to let go and just revel in the dysfunction of the holidays and families.

So next time the holidays have you stressed or the family is driving you a little nuts, grab a bottle of wine, a copy of Bad Moms or Bad Moms Christmas (or both) and go lock yourself in the bedroom. Take a moment for yourself to just sit back and laugh. Trust me, you’ll feel better and this alone time will benefit all those around you because you won’t lose your ish, instead, you’ll come out relaxed and laughing.

Bad Moms Christmas is available at your local retailer and online.

But guess what? I’m giving away a copy of the movie on Facebook! So head over and enter for a chance to win!! The contest is pinned to the top of the page.

The winner has been chosen – Congrats to Heather S your copy will be arriving shortly!
