I love mint chocolate anything so when I found out that Friendly’s made a Mint Chocolate Chip coffee I knew I had to try it! This month, we were sent a 40 count pack of Friendly’s Mint Chocolate Chip k-cups to try out. And we did try it out! Usually, I would just brew my coffee and add a little creamer and sugar, but it’s been really muggy lately. I don’t like to drink hot beverages when I’m hot, it’s not enjoyable for me. So I decided to turn this Mint Chocolate Chip Coffee into an nice iced beverage. I turned it into a blended Mint Chocolate Chip Coffee. Perfect for the summer weather and I still get my coffee.
To make the Blended Mint Chocolate Chip Coffee you will need the following –
2 cups brewed Friendly’s Mint Chocolate Chip Coffee cooled
2 cups of ice cubes made from Friendly’s Mint Chocolate Chip Coffee Coffee
Whipped Cream
Chocolate Sauce
Andes Mints, chopped
This recipe does require you to plan ahead a little. First, you are going to brew a few k-cups of Friendly’s Mint Chocolate Chip Coffee. Let the coffee cool to about room temperature, then pour into ice cube molds and freeze.
Brew an additional 2 cups of Mint Chocolate Chip Coffee and put it in the fridge, it’ll be fine in the fridge for a few days before it becomes bitter.
When you want to make your blended beverage get your blender out and grab those ice cubes and cooled coffee from the refrigerator.
Place 2 cups of ice and 2 cups of the Mint Chocolate Chip Coffee in the blended and bled.
Pour into your preferred glass.
Top with whip cream.
Drizzle with chocolate sauce.
Add some chopped Andes Mints to the whipped cream.
Enjoy!
It’s a great way to enjoy your coffee on a hot summer day.
