There is nothing like slipping into soft, comfortable sheets at the end of the day. We spend a fair amount of time in our beds so we should feel comfortable. Having a high-quality, soft set of sheets will make a big difference in this. Cosy House can help. They have created a high quality, ultra-soft, wrinkle free, deep-pocketed luxury sheet sets that will turn your bed into a retreat.
When I was in college I worked at a linen store. Before working there I had no clue about linens. I thought the sheet sets I bought at my local big box retailer where great. I was under the impression that percale or 250 threat count was a standard in bedding. Now, I wouldn’t buy any sheets that my twenty-something self would have and did buy. I learned about threat count and how important it is.
When I buy a set of sheets I am looking for a higher thread count. Why? Thread count is the measure of threads in a sheet. Sound pretty simple, right? A higher thread count will mean a softer and stronger set of sheets. I find it also means they are warmer too. Remember those potholders you can make? Where you are weaving the material in and out? The tighter you weave the stronger those pot holders are, right? Same concept with sheets. The higher the threat count the tighter the weave which means they won’t wear out as fast, they will be warmer and usually softer.
Another feature I look for in sheets is deep pockets. I have learned that you always want to go with deep pockets. Currently, I have a memory foam mattress on my bed. Those tend to be about 10 inches thick. But once I get my mattress protector on it (and I use a waterproof one because of pets and kids) it can add a little bulk. I rather have a little too much sheet than not enough. When we had a traditional mattress I was always having a tough time getting fitted sheets to stay because our mattress was so thick then I had a mattress topper on it and a mattress protector. I always had to buy deep pocket sheets to get them to stay on. All of Cosy House sheet sets are deep-pocketed so I can use those.
Cosy House has a wide selection of colors. That’s not easy to come by. I want a high-quality sheet set, with deep pockets, a high thread count and comes in a wide selection of colors. That’s tough. If you head to your local retailer you’ll find that most 1800 thread count sheet sets only come in cream, white, beige and maybe a muted green. Cosy House 1800 collection comes in 8 colors. I chose a baby blue to go with our spring bedding. But they have burgundy, white, ivory, gold, taupe, chocolate, navy blue, gray, purple and sage green. And it comes with 4 pillow cases! I love this. I always have 4 pillows on my king size bed and I always have to buy an extra set. Cosy House has taken care of that for you. They give you two sets!
