Have you ever gone camping, sat down to eat and the bugs are swarming around you. They are swarming so much it’s nearly unbearable to be at the table. So then you start a fire and hope the smoke gets rid of them but at the same time now your eyes are watering from the smoke. You’ve gone from swatting at bugs to not being able to see. Not much of an improvement if you ask me. That’s why, this year, when we go camping I’ll be bringing the RORAIMA bug proof room with me.
It’s an instant screened in canopy shelter! How awesome is that? Peyton is highly sensitive to bug bites, the kid swells up and gets these awful welts. It can really put a damper on the camping trip. Now, I’ll be able to put the screened canopy shelter up when we get to the campsite and she’ll be able to site inside of it and be safe from those pesky mosquitos and flies that just love to take a little bite of her.
Normally I would show the canopy shelter in its full glory, set up in our side yard. However, we had a blizzard in April last weekend. Nearly 2 feet of snow in mid-April in Minnesota! It was crazy. So right now, my yard is either so mushy you cannot walk on it or covered in snow. There really is not a firm place to set this up. I know, it stinks, I really wanted to set it up and check it out. But we will! It’ll just be in about a week when the snow has melted and the ground has dried out a little. However, RORAIMA wanted the article up today so I have to rush it.
I will be using this canopy throughout the summer. We camp at least 3 times a summer if not more just depends on our schedule. For us, this will be a lifesaver. We’ll be able to sit outside and enjoy our campsite without being eaten by bugs. It’ll also be nice to eat our breakfast without a billion gnats swarming around our heads!
If you’re an avid camping or even just looking for something to use in your backyard to avoid the buys you should consider this! This about watching fireworks on the 4th of July in this, you can enjoy the show without the bugs!
