Calling All PTA Moms

If you have or have had a child in school then you’ve probably volunteered for the PTA. A room full of parents, wanting to help, can get pretty chaotic. Right now, we are in the midst of planning our school carnival. It’s a pretty big deal, lots of moving parts. We have parents working on silent auction items, raffle prizes and ticket sales, dinner buffet, concession stands, games and more. The list seems to go on and on and on!

Not only do we have over a dozen different areas we need coverage on the evening of the event, we also have shifts within each area. Some people need to work the whole evening, some just an hour. Some are needed for set up and others just for tear down. And some want to volunteer in more than one location! That’s a lot of moving parts.

TeamSnapTeamSnap Sign Up PTA is helping us keep the carnival on track and everyone organized. It’s a snap to set up. Simply create your organization, for us that was the PTA. From there I created an event, the Spring Carnival. And then I created teams, which for this are the different locations/attractions I need coverage on. Now, I can assign a different lead person to each team, this means I won’t be the only one that can make changes, ect. for this location.

TeamSnap ChoicesFor example, we have a cake walk so I created a team for it called Cake Walk. Now, I can put someone in charge of team Cake Walk and they can send out updates to the members of that team, create the schedule and manage it. But I can still see the progress! It’s a great way for organizations to help delegate the workload without losing site of what is getting done or needs to get done.

Using TeamSnapI can even set up schedules within TeamSnap and people can sign up for slots they want!  With real-time updating, everyone will know if a time slot has been taken or if it’s open. This is a huge time-saving benefit for us. No more sorting through emails and adding names to a spreadsheet trying to cover every time slot.

Another feature I love is how you can use TeamSnap from anywhere. If you’re on the go, you can manage it right from your phone! In the office? Login from your computer. No matter where you are, you can access TeamSnap to stay updated.

Spring Carnival TeamSnapTeamSnap is perfect for any group. Have a parent group other than PTA? We’re also involved in 4H and this would work wonderfully for our group. With the ability to create different events it’s perfect for a group with different segments. You can manage the whole organization or just one section at a time.

It’s free for your members to sign up and use TeamSnap. And with so many options for plans, each organization will find the one that suits their needs.

If you are a coach, leader for an organization, or large family with a crazy schedule, you should check out TeamSnap. You won’t believe how much time you have been wasting until you see how fast you can get organized with TeamSnap.  Sign up for TeamSnap today and see the difference. By signing up through my link, you’ll automatically get 3 months free! That’s 3 months to try it out and get your whole organization or team on it.
