It’s week 3 of Camp Warner Bros! How did your Steven Universe Gem Candy come out? Ours took forever to crystalize! I think it was because of how humid it’s been. This summer sure it a hot one! This week we are making Gummy Bear Slime and watching We Bare Bears: The Movie.
Who doesn’t like slime? Besides parents. Peyton loves making slime so when I told her we were making Gummy Bear slime that she could eat she was extremely excited. This project also requires mom or dad to help. We are going to use the microwave so there needs to be an adult helping.
You will need –
1/3 C Powdered Sugar
1/3 C Cornstarch
Microwave Safe Bowl
In a microwave-safe bowl, place the gummy bears, reserve a few for decorating later.
Microwave in 10-second intervals, stirring in between until your gummy bears are melted.
In a separate bowl combine the corn starch and powdered sugar, stir to combine.
Add about a teaspoon of the dry mixture to the melted gummy bears and stir. Keep adding in a teaspoon at a time until you have created gooey slime.
Remove your slime from the bowl and have fun! Now it’s time to stretch, pop and pull your slime.
Once you’re done with the gummy bear slime be sure to make some time to watch We Bare Bears: The Movie.
