Head over to the Minnesota Zoo and travel back in time. Back to a time when dinosaurs roamed the earth. The kids and I took the journey and here's what we saw. The walk is long. Especially if you are just heading to the zoo to see the dinosaurs. It's located in the far back past the farm. As you are walking the hilly path to the entrance you start to see things changing. Soon you stumble upon an ancient opening to the land of the dinosaurs. Right there at the entrance is your very first ...

Family Fun at Fun Wheel Rentals
Even though summer is coming to a close there is still plenty of time to get out and enjoy this beautiful weather. Fun Wheel Rentals is a great way to spend some time together as a family, get some exercise and take in the sights. Recently, I took my family for a morning excursion around Minnehaha Falls with the help of Fun Wheel Rentals. There are 4 locations in Minneapolis to try out, each by different parks and lakes with scenic paths to travel. We did enjoy our time at Fun Wheel Rentals but ...
New Foods at the Minnesota State Fair
The Minnesota State Fair start this week! This is one of my favorite times of year. Peyton and I have gone to the Minnesota State Fair every single year of her life, including the year she was in my belly. It's one of our favorite things to do to end the summer. We head to the state fair early in the morning and eat our way through till we can't eat anymore, the sun goes done or we are so hot we can't go on. I got a little sneak peak at some of the new foods at the fair so I thought I would ...
Fly Over America
There's a new attraction out at the Mall of America! Peyton and I just had to go check out Fly Over America. It's located inside of Nickelodeon Universe between the Peeps Company and Hard Rock Cafe. I would say it's more of an attraction than a ride. Fly Over America does take a little while to go through and enjoy so I would set aside about a half hour for the experience. If there's a line, plan on spending more time. When you first arrive to Fly Over America, you'll stop at a ticket counter ...

Well, today I surprised her with a late lunch in the American Girl Bistro! This is our second visit to the bistro. Typically reservations are needed. Going to the Mall of America is usually a last minute decision so I never try for them. But today we were going to try a walk up reservation since we were eating at 2 pm. And it ...
Crayola Experience at the Mall of America
I remember the day the Mall of America opened. It was the place to be when I was in high school. Over the years I have watched stores, attractions and restaurants come and go. This past spring, the Crayola Experience debuted at the Mall of America where Bloomingdale's used to be located. There are two other Crayola Experiences in the United States, Orlando, Florida and Eastan, Pennsylvania. I think it's pretty neat to have one here in my home state.Crayola has always been a staple in our ...
