Peyton and I enjoyed our Pralines & Cream Coffee Sugar Scrub so much last month that we decided to make a bigger batch this month with our new coffee – Brooklyn Bean Roastery CocoMoacha, a coconut chocolate flavored coffee. Now, I’ve been doing my part, I’ve been making myself yummy CocoMoacha coffee every morning so we have enough used coffee grounds. It was a tough job, but someone had to do it. You don’t have to use used coffee grounds for this scrub but it’s a great way to recycle or repurpose and get the most out of your k-cups.
What you will need to make this aromatic CocoMocha Coffee Sugar Scrub at home is the following –
10 Brooklyn Bean Roastery CocoMocha K-cups – used or new
5 Tablespoons Sugar
1/2 Cup Coconut Oil, melted
Your first step is to take a sharp knife and cut the tops off the Brooklyn Bean Roastery CocoMocha k-cups and pour the coffee grounds into a medium-size glass bowl. Now you can recycle the empty k-cups!
Next, pour the sugar in the same bowl as the coffee grounds.
Lastly, melt your coconut oil until it is liquid in 25-30 second intervals. Be sure to stir it in between intervals. Once the coconut oil is melted pour it in the same bowl as the coffee grounds and sugar.
Mix until the coconut oil is coating the sugar and coffee grounds and everything is combined.
Lastly, pour in a glass jar.
Now you have your very own CocoMocha Coffee Sugar Scrub to use in the shower! Your shower is going to smell amazing! And your skin will feel refreshed and smooth.
Be sure to check out our frozen coffee drink we made with the CocoMocha Kcups too.
