We are at the height of summer and the heat is definitely here! But I still want my coffee. This month, we are trying out a new flavor by Brooklyn Bean Roastery, CocoMocha, it’s also a limited-edition flavor. It’s a very nice chocolate coconut coffee that tastes great freshly brewed with a touch of creamer or you can make it an iced drink by blending it so you can enjoy it on even the hottest days. But, to make this recipe, and have it turn out best it does take a little pre-planning.
To make the Blended CocoMocha Coffee you will need the following –
2 cups brewed Brooklyn Bean Roastery CocoMocha Coffee cooled
2 cups of ice cubes made from Brooklyn Bean Roastery CocoMocha Coffee
Whipped Cream
Chocolate Sauce
Mini Chocolate Chips
This recipe does require you to plan ahead a little. First, you are going to brew a few k-cups of Brooklyn Bean Roastery CocoMocha Coffee. Let the coffee cool to about room temperature, then pour into ice cube molds and freeze.
Brew an additional 2 cups of CocoMocha Coffee and put it in the fridge, it’ll be fine in the fridge for a few days before it becomes bitter.
When you want to make your blended beverage get your blender out and grab those ice cubes and cooled coffee from the refrigerator.
Place 2 cups of ice and 2 cups of the CocoMocha Coffee in the blended and bled.
Pour into your preferred glass.
Top with whip cream.
Drizzle with chocolate sauce.
Drop a few mini-chocolate chips over the top too.
Enjoy!
It’s a great way to enjoy your coffee on a hot summer day.
