We are a camping family so when I saw Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood was coming out with Daniel Goes Camping I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. Daniel Goes Camping is made up of 3 episodes, one is an extended episode! Included in the set is – Backyard Camping
Daniel and O the Owl are camping in the yard with Dad Tiger and O is a little hesitant to sleep in this unfamiliar setting. However, once he examines this new setting closely, he learns that it’s not so scary! In fact, different can be fun!
Daniel’s Sleepover
Daniel and his parents go to Prince Wednesday’s castle for a family sleepover. When Daniel and Prince Wednesday go through their bedtime routines together, Daniel realizes how different it is sleeping at Prince Wednesday’s castle. As bedtime nears, Daniel and Prince Wednesday notice some things that are just a little bit scary…but they soon learn that once they investigate further, they actually aren’t scary at all!
Nighttime in the Neighborhood (extended adventure)
Tonight is a special night in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. In this tale, Daniel and his friends are going to a pajama party at the library! As Daniel and his family walk through the moonlit neighborhood, Daniel learns about all of the things that look and sound different at night.
My little one enjoys watching Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood because of the catchy music and likable characters. I like letting her watch Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood because of the lessons being taught and it reminds me of Mister Rogers Neighborhood from when I was little.
If you are looking for a fun, entertaining DVD about camping, friendships, overcoming fears and catchy music then you need to check out Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Daniel Goes Camping.
You can find Daniel Goes Camping on PBS Kids, Amazon or your local retailer.

Love Daniel Tiger! I spent last night babysitting my little Godson who is crazy for this show… My boys never watched this (they are older), but I am quite impressed with the show.
