Last time Disney on Ice was in town I took Peyton. She had a blast! We are mini-donuts, sang along to all the songs and just had fun mommy-daughter night. Well, Disney on Ice is coming back to Minneapolis, at the end of February, and Peyton cannot wait to go again! And I don’t mind taking her, again.
I don’t mind taking Peyton to see Disney on Ice every single time it comes to town because it’s always different. It’s never the same show twice. There is a completely new storyline, new characters, and Disney music. And there is always something for everyone in the show.
When we went to Disney on Ice last time I told Peyton it was a farewell present from Frankie and Freya, our Christmas Elves. Every year they leave Peyton with a parting gift to say thank you for having us and we’ll see you next year. They always leave a note and a gift. I try to make the gift something she has only told me about, like her desire to see Disney on Ice, or one year I did a blanket that we saw in the store that she begged to have. That way, she thinks Frankie and Freya are really listening to her. Having her convinced the elves are watching her behavior at all times really helps Peyton make better choices.
